Experience
Dewey Riou is a retired police Lieutenant with over 26 years of service. He has experience in investigations, media relations, community policing, emergency management and crisis intervention.
Dewey was one of 13 Officers profiled in the book Behind and Beyond the Badge.
Dewey has been a trainer for over 25 years. Dewey has been a Certified Public Manager® since 2002, and serves as an adjunct instructor for the Florida Center for Public Management. His areas of knowledge include leadership, organizational communications, and community relations.
Dewey's unique experiences have enabled him to become an effective and inspiring storyteller. This includes helping others craft and tell their own stories. Dewey has written for business presentations, magazine interviews, media releases, and documentary video productions. In every medium, Dewey can help create your own authentic voice.
